The firm comprehensively handles the planning, development, manufacturing, sales, and distribution of games across various platforms, including home consoles, online gaming, mobile devices, and arcade machines, serving markets in Japan and internationally. Its operations are structured into several primary segments: The Digital Contents division is responsible for crafting and marketing both physical (packaged) and digital game titles for consumer home video game systems, alongside developing content for mobile platforms and PC online games. Arcade Operations oversees the management of amusement centers, predominantly "Plaza Capcom" facilities located within commercial complexes, and organizes various events at these venues. The Amusement Equipments segment focuses on the design, production, and sale of hardware components for gaming machines, such as frames and LCD screens, along with their associated software. The Other Businesses segment encompasses a diverse range of activities, including the publication of strategy guides and game art books, the licensing of its intellectual property for movies, animated television programs, music, and merchandise, and a strong emphasis on the growing esports industry. This segment also manages amusement arcades.
