The firm actively searches for precious metals like gold and silver, base metals including copper, nickel, cobalt, lead, and zinc, as well as platinum group elements (PGEs). The company's assets include a 100% ownership of the Princhester Magnesite project, which encompasses two granted mining leases positioned northwest of Rockhampton, Queensland. Lachlan Star also holds a complete interest in the Killaloe gold project, composed of two adjacent exploration licenses and the distinct Buldania mining license, collectively spanning approximately 94 square kilometers in Western Australia's Eastern Goldfields region. Furthermore, it possesses a 75% stake in the Koojan project, situated in the New Norcia area of Western Australia. Established in 1970, the company initially operated as Toodyay Resources Limited until its rebranding to Lachlan Star Limited in November 2007. Its corporate headquarters are located in West Perth, Australia.
