Lara Exploration Ltd. is a junior mining exploration company that searches for copper, gold, and other metals buried underground. The company does not yet mine or sell metals — instead, it finds and develops mineral deposits that could eventually become producing mines. Its main work is in South America, particularly in Brazil and Peru, where it holds exploration licenses on promising land.

Lara makes money by discovering valuable mineral deposits and then either selling those projects to larger mining companies or earning royalties and payments through joint venture deals. It is a small company with a market cap around $200 million and no meaningful revenue yet, which explains the zero gross margin. Its competitive edge comes from its experienced geological team and its early-mover land positions in underexplored regions. The biggest risk is that exploration is expensive and uncertain — most projects never become mines, and the company depends on outside funding and rising metal prices to keep advancing its work.
