Marti Technologies is a Turkish mobility app company that lets people rent electric scooters, e-bikes, and other small vehicles through a smartphone app. It operates in cities across Turkey, serving everyday commuters and short-distance travelers who want a quick, affordable way to get around. The company is one of the largest micro-mobility operators in Turkey.

Marti makes money by charging users per ride or per minute when they rent its vehicles. The company is headquartered in Istanbul and generates nearly all of its revenue from the Turkish market, which gives it local brand recognition but also heavy exposure to Turkey's economy and currency fluctuations. With a 65% gross margin but a deeply negative operating margin, Marti is still spending significantly more than it earns, and its main challenge is scaling its rider base and vehicle fleet fast enough to reach profitability before its cash runs out.

Marti Technologies is growing revenue at 115% year-over-year. The Winston Score penalises unprofitable companies, but revenue at this pace tells a different story — this is a company still in "build mode."

The Winston Score above measures business quality today. Growth stocks often score lower because they invest in the future rather than maximising current profits. These metrics show what matters most for evaluating that future.
