Furthermore, it supplies process control systems, machine-to-machine communication devices, sensors, and RFID technology. Its portfolio also extends to software for production and product lifecycle management, mechatronic system simulation and testing, and cloud-native industrial Internet of Things platforms. The Smart Infrastructure segment delivers products, systems, and software solutions designed to facilitate the sustainable energy transition, spanning both fossil and renewable sources. It also addresses smart buildings, sustainable communities, general building infrastructure, electrification, and various electrical products. Within the Mobility sector, Siemens supplies a broad spectrum of solutions for both passenger and freight transport. This includes various rolling stock like trams, light rail vehicles, commuter and long-distance trains, and passenger coaches. It also offers locomotives for diverse hauling needs, automated transportation systems, rail automation technology, electrification components, and intermodal transport solutions. Siemens Healthineers is dedicated to the development, production, and global distribution of diagnostic and therapeutic medical products and services, supplemented by expert clinical consulting. Finally, Siemens Financial Services provides a suite of financial offerings, including debt and equity investments, along with leasing, lending, working capital, equipment, project, and structured financing solutions. Founded in 1847, Siemens Aktiengesellschaft maintains its corporate headquarters in Munich, Germany.
